BOLLYWOOD, March 23 (Online): Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots, based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel Five Point Someone remains one of the best coming of age dramas Bollywood has seen these past couple of decades. The movie, starring Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor and Boman Irani was released in 2009 and is considered to be a cult classic now.
For the longest time, there were reports of the movie’s sequel coming out, but no confirmation on the same was announced. However, finally, there seems to be some truth to the rumours and it is none other than Kareena Kapoor who vouches for it.
Kareena, who played the role of Pia was cast opposite Aamir Khan in the movie. The actor took to her IG handle earlier today to share a video where she is talking about a press conference that Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi attended while she was holidaying in Africa with her kids and husband Saif Ali Khan. Seemingly upset that she was not aware of the same, Kareena says in the video, “Something is fishy. I think they are cunning for a sequel. This smells like a sequel for sure.” She ended the video by saying she is calling Boman to tell him this and exclaims, ‘ye chal kya raha hai!’.
A few months back, the trio of Aamir, Madhavan and Sharman had come together to promote a Gujarati movie that Sharman was acting in?
Kareena Kapoor Khan will soon be seen in The Crew, alongside Kriti Sanon and Tabu. She also has Hansal Mehta’s next in her kitty.
