Jacqui Joseph speaks out on Money For Nothing co-star EJ Osborne’s death ‘Massive loss’

JACQUI JOSEPH – who recently joined Homes Under The Hammer – has broken her silence following the death of her Money For Nothing co-star EJ Osborne last year.

Homes Under The Hammer presenter Jacqui Joseph has said EJ Osborne is a “massive loss” to the Money For Nothing team, in a tribute to the late star. EJ died at Dorothy House Hospice near Bath, Somerset on September 21, 2020 aged 45. His cause of death has been kept private.

The late craftsman was best known for being a woodworker on BBC show Money for Nothing.

Speaking of his death, Jacqui told Express.co.uk: “He just kept going, he was great soul, a great guy and just so giving, I’m sure he’s still working his magic somewhere.

“He’s a massive loss for the team, he really was… it’s sad.

“He did a number of episodes, he to started as an artisan like myself, like Jay Blades as well.

“But yeah, he will be sorely missed.”

EJ’s death was confirmed by his wife and Jacqui’s co-star Sarah Moore in September.

Taking to her Instagram page at the time, Sarah wrote: “All of the @monfornothing team were devastated to hear the news that the fantastic, inspiring, chuckling and talented member of our TV family @hatchetandbear has passed away.

“I join with all of the team, our artisans, production crew, directors, executives, viewers and friends in sending our love and respect to his family.”

EJ’s grieving wife Anne-Marie, and the mother of his daughter, also paid tribute to her spouse on social media.

She wrote: “EJ spent the last three and a bit weeks of his life being cared for by the wonderful women at Dorothy House hospice.

“I was with him every day and was blown away by their compassion, resilience and kindness.”

A fundraising page was set up by his family to raise money for the hospice who helped EJ.

In the same chat, Jacqui discussed her time working on the popular BBC show.

She said: “I love being, and I think its the same for Sarah, for some reason we love to be at the recycling centre.

“At the recycling centre, you never know what you’re going to come across, because obviously nothing is planned.

“And the cars come rolling in and you hope you find something or some things.
