LAHORE Sep 10 (Online): The famous actress of the past Babar Sharif has said that I loved Rani Begum, Shamim Ara and Zeba Begum in the film industry, but I had a very close relationship with Shamim Ara. Shamim Ara wanted to do much more for film industry, what should have been done was not done.
In an interview, Babra Sharif said that when Shamim Ara was seriously ill, she was in dire need of the film industry, but the selfishness of the showbiz industry that no one supported her in difficult situations.
I was deeply shocked by her death which I have not forgotten till now, an actress and director like Shamim Ara was a real asset to the film industry.
During the interview, Babra Sharif got upset with moist in her eyer when she mentioned Shamim Ara.
She said that credit goes to Shamim Ara for casting me as a commando heroine, every work she did with me as a director was a super hit.
