Khairpur, September 7, 2022 (Online): The Five-Day Free Medical Camp jointly organized by Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur in collaboration with PPHI, Khairpur District for Flood Affected People continued on second day.
On first day, the Medical and Paramedic Staff performed their duties and attended and checked more than 570 patients and provided them medicines free of cost while on second day the 310 patients were attended and checked at the Medical Camp.
Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur commended the efforts of Flood Relief Committee and the team of PPHI, Khairpur for providing medical cover to the patients. He said Sindh braces high flood owing to climate disaster. Flooding is climate induce phenomena. It is the collective duty of the all stakeholders to contribute for the relief and rehabilitation of flood affected people.
Dr. Waqar Hussain Khaskheli, Dr. Hameedullah Shaikh along with paramedic staff performed their duties. The Free Medical Camp will remain continue till Friday. It is recalled that Flood Relied Committee is providing 2 time cooked food to the flodd affected people on daily basis at adjoining areas of the University.
Prof. Dr. Farman Ali Mangi, Mr. Ali Raza Lashari, Members Flood Relief Committee, Mr. Deep, Mr. Kamran Behan and other volunteers were preformed their volunteer services.
