Islamabad, May 2025 – The School of Dalton International (SDI) opened its doors to an enthusiastic gathering of parents, children, educators, and dignitaries at its Open House held at its purpose-built campus in F-11/3, Islamabad. The event was graced by esteemed guests including Mr. Syed Nafasat Raza, Member Engineering at the Capital Development Authority (CDA); Mr. Jamshaid Sultan, Producer & Director at PTV; and prominent leaders from Islamabad’s education sector.
Founded on the globally acclaimed Dalton Plan, the School of Dalton International is pioneering a new approach to early and primary education in Pakistan. The Dalton model blends structure with independence and encourages responsibility, collaboration, and creativity in children—offering an enriched learning environment rooted in international best practices.
Founder Mrs. Itrat Rubab Haider, a seasoned educationist with over 26 years of leadership experience, shared her vision on the occasion, “Every child deserves an education that inspires independent thinking, nurtures curiosity, and empowers them to navigate the world with confidence and compassion.”
The event also showcased SDI Advising, the school’s dedicated college preparation and youth leadership development wing, which offers students personalized academic guidance, resume-building support, exposure to real-world projects, and mentoring for university admissions.
Ms. Shirin Abbasy, Director Communications & Advising Programs at SDI, remarked, “We are equipping youth not only with academic strength but with real-world exposure—through leadership opportunities, entrepreneurship workshops, internships, and community service—that prepares them to thrive in top universities and beyond.”
Guests appreciated the school’s thoughtful curriculum, vibrant environment, and the seamless integration of academic, co-curricular, and leadership development pathways. The Open House also featured interactive activities for its little visitors, who engaged in joyful learning through play and music.
