ISLAMABAD, July 22 (Online): Finance minister Miftah Ismail has said we will ask banks to reduce interest rate.
He tweeted “A meeting has been held in State Bank just now. Government will continue Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar housing loan scheme for all those people whose loan applications have been approved and who have paid token money.
We will ask the banks to scale down interest rate. We are in the process of making the scheme inexpensive and broad. The revised scheme will soon be introduced, he remarked.
