ISLAMABAD, JULY 14 (ONLINE): IMF Director Communication Ms Julie Kozak has said IMF is always ready to work with Pakistan and the Pakistani government on these efforts for revival of economic stability.
“Pakistan is facing multiple challenges. Reforms will be needed. We are ready to work together for efforts towards economic stability, she said this in a media briefing here Friday.
She went on to say IMF is always prepared to work with Pakistan. Executive Board approved 3 billion dollars for Pakistan on July 12. 1.20 billion dollars have been released to Pakistan immediately.
New program will help the authorities in the immediate efforts to stabilize economy, she remarked. IMF program will be crucial for the help and support of people of Pakistan, she held.
Implementation on stable policy is important, she underlined. Conducive environment will have to be created for investors.
Although it is a short program relatively yet it provides time to Pakistan for implementation of important policies to solidify internal and external economic situation.
