ISLAMABAD, United States of America (USA) remained the top export destinations of the Pakistani products during the first eleven months of financial year (2020-21), followed by United Kingdom (UK) and China.
Total exports to the USA during July-May (2020-21) were recorded at US $ 4473.917 million against the exports of US $ 3606.152 million during July-May (2019-20), showing growth of 24.06 percent, according to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
This was followed by UK, wherein Pakistan exported goods worth US $ 1860.125 million against the exports of US $ 1492.228 million last year, showing an increase of 24.65 percent.
China was at third top export destination, where Pakistan exported goods worth US $ 1831.994 million during the months under review against the exports of US $1535.735 million during last year, showing growth of 19.29 percent, SBP data revealed.
Among other countries, Pakistani exports to Germany stood at US $ 1365.700 million against US $1192.779 million during last year, showing increase of 14.49 percent while the exports to UAE were recorded at US $ 1334.916 million against US $ 1465.757 million last year, the data revealed.
During July-May (2020-21), the exports to Holland were recorded at US $101.94 million against US $907.417 million whereas the exports to Afghanistan stood at US $ 895.380 million against US $826.802 million.
Pakistan’s exports to Italy were recorded at $698.860 million against the exports of US $ 691.369 million while the exports to Spain were recorded at US $ 735.868 million against US $ 807.634 million last year.
The exports to Bangladesh stood at US $551.552 million against US $ 633.787 million.
Similarly, the exports to France during the months under review were recorded at US $ 394.831 million against US $ 395.665 million while the exports to Saudi Arabia stood at US $ 429.172 million against US $ 418.866 million.
Pakistan’s exports to Turkey were recorded at US $238.686 million during the current year compared to US $260.238 million last year whereas the exports to Canada stood at US $280.550 million against US $ 250.363 million, to Poland US $ 272.420 million against US $ 232.559 million whereas the exports to Australia stood at US $ 243.832 million during the current year against US $ 184.350 million during last year.
Overall Pakistan’s exports to other countries witnessed growth of 10.31 percent in eleven months, from $20.963 billion to $23.125 billion, the SBP data showed.
