Stalled development projects being revived: Dastgir

FAISALABAD – October 31 (ONLINE) Federal Minister for Power Khurram Dastgir Khan said Monday the incumbent government was reviving all development projects, put in cold store during the last four years.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of 220-KV Lalian grid station in Faisalabad on Monday, Dastgir said work on 775-megawatt Karot hydro electric power project has already been started while work on 1,320 MW Shanghai Thar coal project will be initiated soon.

The Minister said the National Transmission and Dispatch Company has finalised different projects in all provinces with an estimated cost of one thousand billion rupees.
