Islamabad October15 (Online): The prices of essential food commodities have been increased at Utility Stores.
The prices increased will be applicable with immediate effect, said a notification issued by the government on Friday.
According to details, the price of different brands of ghee has been increased from minimum Rs40 to maximum Rs1090 as per the quantity of the commodity.
The price of Dalda ghee available at utility store has been increased by Rs109 per kg and Rs1090 per 10 litters can.
According to the notification, a 10 litter packet of Dalda ghee has been increased by Rs2500 to Rs3590.
Likewise, the price of 10 litter packet of Meezan ghee has been increased by Rs475 after which the price of 10 liter tin of Meezan ghee has been increased from Rs2885 to Rs3360.
A statement issued by the spokesperson Utility Store said, increase in prices by manufacturers has led to increase in stores.
