ISLAMABAD, JAN 30 (ONLINE): Prices of petroleum products are likely to increase by Rs 6 per liter from February 01.
According to sources prices of petrol is likely to be increased by Rs 1.24 per liter and diesel by Rs 4.49 per liter. While price of light diesel oil is likely to be enhanced by Rs 5.93 per liter and of kerosine oil Rs 5 per liter.
The sources said the prices of petroleum products will increase in local market due to enhancement in the price at international market.
Working regarding petroleum products has been forwarded to OGRA.
OGRA will determine the prices of petroleum products in proportion to international market on January 31.
Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif will accord final approval in connection with prices.
Ministry of finance will issue notification in respect of prices of petroleum products.
The new prices will remain effective from February 01 to February 15.
