BISHKEK, March 9 (Kabar/APP) : Over the past five years, the mining industry has contributed 217.9 billion soms in taxes and fees to the Kyrgyz budget. Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision Asel Raimkulova announced at Jogorku Kenesh committee.
According to her, in 2025 alone, revenues amounted to 65.4 billion soms, a record high. From 2021 to 2025, the total volume of gold mined reached 141 tons, with annual production increasing to 26 tons. In addition, the country produces approximately 4 million tons of coal annually.
