PESHAWAR, March 23 (Online): The caretaker government of KP has linked the taking over charge of Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (PESCO) and Tribal Electricity Supply Company (TESCO) to power houses.
KP government sources said PESCO and TESCO are running in huge loss. KP government is not ready to take over their charge in the prevailing situation.
According to sources KP care taker government is of the view if PESCO and TESCO have to be handed over to it then power huses and their income should also be given to them.
The province is not put into difficulty by giving management to it.
Sources also said that the KP government is of the view PESCO is already running in loss of Rs 200 billion. The reservations will be placed before the federation meeting within two days.
