JAKARTA: G20 Foreign Ministers meeting begins in Indonesia

JAKARTA 08 July (Online): The G20 Foreign Ministers’ meeting has begun in Indonesian city Bali on Friday.

The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov are also attending the meeting.

A senior US official Retno Marsudi said that it is our responsibility to end the war in Ukraine sooner than later and settle our differences at the negotiating table, not the battlefield.

The G20 meeting is looking to tackle the war’s impact on food and energy security, as well as the global economy’s recovery from the coronavirus pandemic and the ravages of climate change.
