KARACHI – September 12 (ONLINE) Former Prime Minister and PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said Monday four months of current government were insufficient to ‘clean up the mess’ created by previous PTI government in four years.
Talking to reporters in Karachi on Monday, former PM apparently distanced himself from decisions taken by his party’s finance minister, Miftah Ismael. “I am not responsible for Miftah’s decisions, but it is also correct that Miftah had no role in increasing petroleum products’ prices,” he maintained.
Former Prime Minister said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was playing pivotal role in revival of country’s economy. He said that he was always of the view that institutions like National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should be dissolved forever.
Khaqan said that injustice created chaos everywhere. “You must read constitution to know how countries are run,” he added.
