Tehreek e Kashmir UK staged a protest rally outside Indian High Commission London on death anniversary of Freedom Fighters

London (PNI) Tehreek e Kashmir UK arranged a protest outside Indian High Commission London on the death anniversary of Kashmiri leaders shaheed Maqbool Bhat & shaheed Afzal Guru with other Kashmiri political parties.

Many Kashmiris attended the protest to demand the remains of Shaheed Maqbool Bhat & Shaheed Afzal Guru. On this occasion many slogans were raised free Kashmir, India must stop it’s atrocities, fake encounters & free Kashmiri political prisoners, Human Rights Activists & Journalists.

Kashmir still awaits a plebiscite since 74yrs but India denies by claiming the whole Kashmir an integral part of India even the librated part named Azad Jammu & Kashmir so claims it must be returned.

The information Secretary Rehana Ali said,” I took part in the protest outside Indian High Commission with different political parties to show unity among Kashmiris & to let India know we will not sit in peace till Kashmir isn’t free. We Kashmiris strongly demand the remains of our Kashmiri leaders. India has been violating the first Geneva Convention’s Article 17 & Paragraph III by not returning the remains till present which is a war crime in a conflict zone. India should of been sanctioned on this violation decades ago so we demand UK government being one of the human rights champions & 5th permanent member of the United Nations to convince others permanent members to look into this on going genocide. Histroy is a witness this matter was left pending till today after the British left India so they still owe Kashmiris a duty of care. Furthermore, United nations must ask India to arrange the promised plebiscite soon awaited from 74yrs.”

Rehana Ali added, “Kashmiris also demand the safe return of Kashmiri prisoners as our leaders Musarat Alam Bhat, Asiya Andrabi, Dr Qasim Muhammad Fatto, Yasin Malik & Shabir Shah, humans rights activists Kharrum Pervaiz, Ashan Untoo & Journalists Sultan Asif, Fahad Shah & Sajjad Gul specially young students who got detained only for cheering Pakistan for winning the match against India. Please note being from a disputed state with only two options every citizen has the right to either be Pakistani or Indian. If they decide to stand by Pakistan India has no right to detain or torture a Pakistani from a disputed state with illegal draconian laws AFSPA, PSA & UAPA which need to be highlighted & repeal making a mockery of United Nation’s standard to enact anti terrorism laws. The world will not find such cruelty in the histroy but Indian history. India is now fully exposed so it’s about time the world unites. India believes in Hindutva which is Nazism & both are two sides of the same coin. If we don’t stop India now the world will witness one more holocaust in the near future but from East then West this time.”

Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK & Europe will continue their struggle to show solidarity with Kashmiris facing atrocitries daily for demanding their basic human rights in IOJK & to demand freedom for Kashmir which is every humans & Kashmiris right under UDHR’s article 1 all human are born free & equal in dignity.
