Islamabad (PNI) Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan while terming the PTI chairman Imran Khan’s landslide victory in bye-elections as a referendum against the corrupt mafia has said that the historic victory amply demonstrated the people’s unwavering faith and trust in the leadership of PTI chairman and his political narrative.
The Prime Minister expressed these views while commenting on the PTI’s victory in the bye-elections held on 16 October 2022 in different parts of the country. “The crushing defeat in the bye-elections has left the united opposition (PDM) stunned”, the PM said, adding that the PTI chief yet again proved that he was the undisputed leader of the nation.
He said that the people of Pakistan have rejected the opposition and were ready to respond to his call. He said that Imran Khan was ousted from power through a conspiracy. “The nation knows it fully well as to how the regime change conspiracy was hatched to topple the PTI government”, he added.
Referring to growing uncertainty in the country, the PM said that the abysmal situation in the country demands that general elections should be announced immediately to bring an end to the prevailing chaos and uncertainty in the country. He said that the PTI’s demand for holding fresh elections was the only way out to pull the country out of the mess.
Appreciating the former prime minister for his pro-people policies, he said that during his government IK took a number of people-friendly initiatives whereby the whole nation was reaping benefits today.
