PTI govt committed to promote foreign investment in AJK: Qayyum

MIRPUR (AJK): Feb 18 (APP):Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan Niazi while reiterating government’s commitment to promote foreign investment in the region has said that all possible measures would be taken to ensure an investment friendly atmosphere to boost up economic growth in the region.

The AJK PM said this while talking to Chairman Board of Investment Sardar Amjad Jaleel who called on him in the State metropolis on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion the prime minister while referring to the prevailing investment friendly atmosphere in the region said that the AJK offers huge opportunities for investment in different sectors.

He said that the incumbent government was keen to take all possible steps to facilitate foreign investors.

The AJK PM said that the government would extend its full cooperation to the investors and the obstacles whatsoever in the way of industrial development in the region would be removed. He said that foreign investment would be instrumental in boosting economic activity and reducing unemployment in the region.

He said that the private sector also offers equal opportunities of investment for the local people.The chairman Board of Investment and Business Sardar Amjad Jaleel on the occasion briefed the AJK PM about easing of investment procedure in the state.
