President JK thanks the people of Pakistan for expressing full solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir

MUZAFFARABAD (PID) The Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry has highly commended the role of the people of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir for observance of solidarity day with the oppressed people in occupied Kashmir.
He expressed these views while addressing a function of refugees of Occupied Kashmir and victims of Line of control to mark the Solidarity day at President House here.
The President said that the government is taking concrete steps to alleviate the difficulties being faced by the people living at the line of control. He said the people living at the line of control have been facing indiscriminate Indian forces firing for a long time and as result thousands of people have been martyred and injured due to firing and added that the government is determined to resolve the problems of the people living at the line of control.
The President thanked the people of Pakistan for expressing full solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir who have been struggling for attaining their fundamental right to self determination. The President also thanked the Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and the Government of Azad Kashmir for the construction and completion of the Martyrs’ Memorial at Muzaffarabad on 5th of February on the occasion of Solidarity day.
The President said that although we have already expressed full solidarity with the people of Occupied Kashmir, the observance of 5th February this year has become an imperative because India has intensified its atrocities on the Kashmiri people in occupied Kashmir.
He said after 5th of August 2019 concrete steps will be taken to expose the ugly face of India to the world . On the occasion, Chairman Kashmir Committee Shahar Yar Khan Afridi, Leader of Opposition in Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly Chaudhry Latif Akbar, Senior Most Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan, Minister for Local Government Khawaja Farooq Ahmed, Deputy Speaker of Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly Chaudhry Riaz Gujjar,Member of Azad Jammu and Kashmir legislative Assembly Mian Abdul Waheed, Minister for revenue Chaudhry Akhlaq, Minister for Planning and Development Chaudhry Muhammad Rashid, Minister for Health Dr Ansar Abdali, Minister for Higher Education Zafar Malik, Advisor on Religious Affairs Hafiz Hamid Raza, Minister for Information and Law Sardar Fahim Akhtar Rabbani, Advisor for Industries Chaudhry Maqbool Gujjar, Forest Minister Akmal Sargala, SDMA Advisor Chaudhry Akbar Ibrahim, Presidential Advisor Sardar Imtiaz Khan and others were also present.
