Pakistan, Kashmiri leadership urged to build targeted campaign against Indian occupation

BIRMINGHAM (PNI) The Indian military regime in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIoJK) continues with its fascist policies as in its crackdown, it has illegally confiscated properties worth millions of dollars which belonged to individuals and respected organizations.

Expressing serious concern over the confiscation of properties belonging to Jama’at-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK on Wednesday urged State of Pakistan and leadership of Kashmiri freedom movement to rise to occasion and launch a target-oriented campaign against India’s continued all-out war on native people of IIoJK.

“There is little time with us as Indian military regime in IIoJK is plundering resources of its people without any hindrance,” said Fahim Kayani, president of Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK.

The so-called State Investigation Agency, which was launched by the Indian military regime last year empowered with limitless powers, last weekend listed 11 properties of outfit Jama’at-e-Islami Kashmir in southern Islamabad district and barred it from usage.

The properties estimated at US $11,067,183.00 (INR 90 crore) were illegally confiscated by the Indian military regime.

It is in continuation of the illegal and shameless acts of the Indian military regime to silence Kashmiris through these terror-inflicting moves.

Jama’at-e-Islamic Jammu and Kashmir was illegally banned by Indian fascist state in 2019.

“It takes decades, hard work and huge human resource to build capacities and infrastructure for any organization,” said Kayani, adding: “Indian military regime cannot be given a free pass while it plunders our resources.”

Kayani called on Kashmiri diaspora to wake up to changing realities on ground in IIoJK and plan a strong campaign to scuttle future illegal acts of Indian military regime in the UN-designated disputed territory.

“It is not mere confiscation of properties… Indian military knows well meaning of such infrastructure as Jama’at-e-Islamic has build good human resource in its decades-long work,” said Kayani. “These illegal acts are another face of war crimes inflicted in IIoJK by India.
