Mass graves of Kashmiris discovered in Occupied Kashmir

SRINAGAR, FEB 02 (ONLINE): Mass graves of Kashmiris have been discovered in Occupied Kashmir. Angana Chatterji had identified 2700 mass graves in 2012 in Kupwara, Baramulla and Bandipora districts of India-administered Kashmir. 2943 bodies were found in mass graves in 55 villages of occupied Kashmir.

80 percent bodies could not be identified.

Kashmir Human Rights WATCH detected mass graves of 2730 bodies in four districts.

In July 2008 European parliament adopted resolution regarding mass graves. Indian government was asked to hold far and impartial inquiry into mass graves issue,
