Kashmiris pay tributes to martyr soldiers in Pakistan floods

BIRMINGHAM (PNI) Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK pays its heartfelt tributes to six Pakistani military martyrs who lost their lives in a chopper crash during floods in the country.

Fahim Kayani, president of Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK, said in a statement on Tuesday that Kashmiris stand with the families of the martyrs and salute them for the courage and servives granted to the nation.

The wreckage of the Pakistan Army helicopter that went missing in Balochistan on Monday night was found near Musa Goth in the Lasbela district.

All 6 officers and soldiers including Lt Gen Sarfraz Ali embraced shahadat.

The chopper was on flood relief operations in Lasbela, Balochistan when it lost contact with air traffic control.

The place where the chopper went missing was mountainous terrain, without even jeep paths, making it extremely difficult for search and rescue parties.

“Our hearts go out for the families of these martyrs whose services to Pakistan are infinite,” said Kayani. “Pakistani military is a strong institution of Pakistan and its officers are highest example of discipline and patriotism.”

“Kashmiris are well aware of contributions of Pakistani military and that is why the Kashmiris are sad to know about this sad incident,” he added.

Kayani said Kashmiris will never forget contributions of these officers and soldiers. “The truth is that they did not care about their lives when the call for services came even during the devastating floods that wreaked havoc in Pakistan,” said Kayani.

“Kashmiris pray for their souls and seek sabr for their families,” he said.
