Islamabad (PNI) On the occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day, Altaf Ahmed Bhat, Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM), offers heartfelt felicitation to the people and government of Pakistan.
He also extended best wishes for the economic and financial stability of Pakistan. He acknowledges the significance of a strong and prosperous Pakistan in promoting regional peace and development.
Chairman Bhat emphasizes that a thriving economy in Pakistan can play a pivotal role in advancing the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He envisions a future where economic growth and stability in Pakistan contribute to the overall well-being of the Kashmiri people and their pursuit of justice and self-determination.
Chairman JKSM Bhat further said that Kashmiris are fighting for the freedom from indian occupation and completion of Pakistan. He urged Pakistani nation and the government of Pakistan to practically support Kashmir cause till it’s logical end: freedom from illegal indian occupation.
While celebrating the independence of Pakistan, Chairman Bhat also sheds light on the pre-planned financial and economic crackdown that the Modi-led BJP government of India initiated in Kashmir since August 5, 2019.
He condemned the targeted suppression of Kashmiri youth, resulting in loss of lives and the truncation of their aspirations. The deliberate disruption of education, businesses, and economic activities has gravely impacted the livelihoods and future prospects of the Kashmiri people.
“The youth of Kashmir have been unjustly targeted, their futures snatched away, and vital economic activities halted. This calculated move aims to punish Kashmir for its legitimate demand for freedom and its desire to join Pakistan,” Chairman Bhat states.
He reiterates the resilience of the Kashmiri people in the face of adversity and underscores their unwavering commitment to their right to self-determination.
Chairman Bhat calls for international attention to the ongoing plight of Kashmir and urges the global community to stand against the injustice being inflicted upon the Kashmiri population.
