AJK President urges Kashmiri expatriates to expose India’s hegemonic designs

MIRPUR (AJK): Apr 10 (APP): While highlighting the hardliner BJP government’s hegemonic designs in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the AJK President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry said that the apartheid regime led by Modi was hell bent on to grab Kashmir by hook or by crook.

The AJK president made these remarks while speaking to his supporters on his arrival at Jeddah airport late Sunday.

Referring to the highly volatile situation in the Indian held territory of Kashmir, he said, “after stripping the region of its semi-autonomous status in 2019 the Indian government was now trying to do away with the Kashmir issue”.

Under the given circumstances, there is a dire need that the Kashmiri expatriate community should play its role to foil the Indian government’s nefarious designs”, he said.
Referring to his life long struggle to project Kashmir cause at international level, the AJK president said that it was a great privilege and honour for him to present Kashmir issue in the US, UK and European chambers.

He expressed the hope that the Muslim Ummah would now openly support Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination.
Earlier, on his arrival the AJK president was accorded a warm welcome at the Jeddah airport this morning. A large number of Kashmiris settled in Saudi Arabia were present at the airport to receive him.

Rizwan Syed Sheikh Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Pakistan to OIC, Elias Mahmood Deputy Ambassador of Pakistan to OIC, Sarfraz Gohar Deputy Consulate, Chaudhry Saghir, Sardar Waqas, Chaudhry Khurshid, Chaudhry Khushal and government officials were also present on this occasion.
