MIRPUR (AJK), Jul 14 :Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry on Monday extended his heartfelt felicitations to the newly elected president, office bearers and executive council members of the Central Press Club (CPC) Muzaffarabad.
According to APP correspondent, the President lauded the CPC’s longstanding tradition of responsible journalism and its pivotal role in raising the issues of public interest.
He also commended the journalists’ body for consistently exposing the ongoing Indian atrocities in occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
He expressed the hope that the organization would remain steadfast in promoting objective journalism and become a voice for the voiceless and marginalized segments of society.
“The CPC as a custodian of great journalistic traditions has always played a crucial role in serving the public interest”, the president said, adding that he was optimistic that the newly elected leadership would uphold these values and continue the legacy.
