Toshakhana criminal case against PTI chairman: Court adjourns hearing till July 17

ISLAMABAD, JULY 14 (ONLINE): District court has adjourned till July 17 hearing of Toshakhana criminal case against PTI chairman Imran Khan at the request of counsel for Election Commission (EC).

Toshakhana criminal case came up for hearing before Additional Sessions Judge Islamabad Humayun Dilawar Friday.

Saad Hassan counsel for EC and barrister Gohar counsel for PTI chairman appeared in the court.

The court while addressing counsel for EC remarked you have to give arguments today.

Saad Hasan said Amjid Pervez will give arguments. However he will not be able to appear today due to domestic engagements.
He prayed the court to adjourn hearing of the case till tomorrow.

The court remarked it is not possible tomorrow. There is shifting of Kutchery tomorrow. Therefore no proceedings of any case will take place tomorrow. Is it possible that we hear the case in new kutchery tomorrow.

Saad Hasan said kutchery is being shifted. We too want hearing be adjourned till Monday.

Addressing PTI chairman counsel Barrister Goar, the court remarked barrister Sahb is very busy now a day. Amjid Pervez cannot appear today. He too is requesting for adjourning the hearing till Monday. Therefore we will hear the case at 11 A.M in new kutchery on Monday.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till July 17.
