Toshakhana, 190 million pounds case: PTI founder resorts to IHC for bail

ISLAMABAD, January 23 (Online): PTI founder has resorted to Islamabad High Court (IHC) in connection with his bail in Toshakhana, 190 million pounds case.

PTI founder has filed separate bail pleas in Toshakhana and190 million pounds case. Through these petitions request has been made to annul the decision of Accountability Court (AC).

It has been prayed in the petition that all the cases registered against him are based on political revenge and malafide intent. Former chairman NAB Aftab Sultan refused to frame cases of political nature despite pressure. Bail be approved till the final decision.

It is pertinent to mention here AC had rejected bail after arrest plea of PTI founder in both the cases.

PTI founder has made chairman NAB, DG NAB and investigation officer respondents.
