ISLAMABAD, OCT 03 (ONLINE): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sought reply from the government in the matter of placement of name of Shireen Mazari in Exit Control List (ECL).
The petition seeking removal of name of Shireen Mazari from ECL came up for hearing before IHC Tuesday.
Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri took up the case for hearing.
Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri remarked Additional Attorney General (AAG) should seek stance form government and inform the court thereof.
Court should be told that care taker government too wants to keep name of Shireen Mazari in ECL.
Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri remarked when Shireen Mazari name was put in ECL then PDM political government was in place in the country. AAG should seek written reply from care taker government and present it in the court.
The court ordered that AAG should inform the court till October 23.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till next month.
