Barrister Suleman Safdar counsel for PTI chairman while talking to media men outside Adiala jail said chairman PTI has voiced strong protest against inhuman treatment. Chairman PTI has said he wants to get facilities as per jail manual. He wants movement and exercise in jail room.
He held closed door hearing of cipher case cannot be held. Therefore, we have regretted to receive copies of challan because we have challenged in-camera hearing in IHC . IHC has reserved judgment on our petition. Therefore, we have requested the court there is no justification of in-camera hearing till the decision of IHC. As open court hearing is being held in Supreme Court, therefore, opportunity of open court hearing be given to chairman PTI.
He held open court hearing is must in cipher case. Fair trial cannot take place this way. We and people don’t accept it.
Chairman PTI has neither received copies nor has he signed on copies.
To a question he said chairman PTI is very well but his blood pressure was high due to injustices.
We will challenge one sided order of distributing copies today.
