LAHORE, October 03 (Online): Hearing of appeals against non granting physical remand of PTI leader and former provincial minister Dr Yasmin Rashid has been adjourned without further proceedings.
A two members bench of LHC presided over by Justice Baqir Ali Najfi was to hear the appeal pleas of prosecution against non granting physical remand of Dr Yasmin Rashid and other accused persons in May 9 violence case.
The hearing could not take place being a member of bench on leave. Cause list of two members’ bench was cancelled.
It is pertinent to mention here the prosecution has challenged in LHC the step of not granting further physical remand of the accused in 9 May violence.
