May 9 vandalism case: Qureshi eyes became wet with tears in court while narrating police violence against him

RAWALPINDI, December 28 (Online): PTI vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi eyes wept into tears in the court room over police violence against him.
The plea of physical remand in respect of Shah Mehmood Qureshi came up for hearing before duty additional and sessions judge Syed Jahangir Ali in judicial complex Thursday.
Former foreign minister was presented in the court with handcuffs.
The judge got removed his handcuffs in the court room.
Public prosecutor Ikram Amin Minhas while requesting the court to grant 6 days physical remand of Shah Mehmood Qureshi till January 2 said Shah Mehmood Qureshi incited the people to protest on May 9.
Qureshi came on rostrum and said ” I was involved in false case.. SHO Jamal pushed me and hit me with punches. My condition was worst . I requested for medical aid but the police officers denied.

His eyes became wet with tears while telling his story in the court room.
He told he was kept in highly cool freezer over night. Lights were switched off and candle was lit. Then the full lights were lit with sharp light. About 20 to 25 persons kept on bursting into laughter aloud. I was not allowed to sleep overnight. Is it justice.

Qureshi said that he was involved in GHQ attack case. I swear by the Holy Quran I was not in Punjab on May 9 what to speak of Rawalpindi. I was in Karachi.

SHOs of 7 police stations reached there to arrest Qureshi. Investigation officers of different police stations also reached there in connection with GHQ, Army museum, sensitive institution, Gate No 4 attack cases.
