LAHORE, June 05 (Online): Lahore High Court (LHC) has sought details of the cases from police against PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi till today (Tuesday).
The court has issued these orders on the petition filed by Gauhar Bano daughter of Shah Mehmood Qureshi for barring police from arresting her father in the cases registered against him after May 9 incidents besides providing details of cases against him.
A single bench of LHC led by Justice Ali Baqir Najfi issued notice during preliminary hearing of the petition Monday.
The chief secretary Punjab and others have been made respondents in the petition.
The petitioner has taken plea in the petition that information about the cases registered against Shah Mehmood Qureshi after May 9 incidents be provided besides issuing orders to police for not arresting him.
