LHC reserves judgment on two bail petitions of Khadija Shah

LAHORE, Oct 11 (Online): Lahore High Court (LHC) has reserved judgment on two bail petitions of social activist Khadija Shah.

Khadija Shah had filed bail applications in the cases of attack on Askari Tower and Jinnah House.

The court remarked staging protest is culture of our society. Don’t go into such minuteness that you should face difficulty in future. People come out to voice protest on the call of a leader. You cannot stop any one from protesting.

The court inquired is Khadija Shah nominated in FIR.

Special prosecutor Faryad Ali Shah told the court Khadija Shah is not nominated in FIR. She is charged with raising slogans against the state.

Special prosecutor further told her statement was recorded after identification parade. She kept on inciting people against the government on the occasion.

The court maintained Khadija Shah filed bail plea. Police presented report on her bail plea.

Special prosecutor was of the view “yes I have no information about her bail application. Khadija Shah uploaded pictures from her account.

The court inquired what illegal thing in the statement of Khadija Shah is. Saying this that dignity of mothers and sisters not safe is illegal.

The court inquired did you get confirmation from twitter administration about this account and tweet.
Prosecutor was of the view that Khadija Shah herself owns this account.

The court remarked police should see file, Is everything correct therein.

The court expressed resentment for not presenting the record.

The court remarked cameras are installed everywhere. How anything remained hidden.
