ISLAMABAD, Oct 03 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has stopped Islamabad police from arresting Sher Afzal Marwat, member of PTI legal team without prior permission of the court.
The petition filed by Sher Afzal Marwat came up for hearing before IHC Tuesday.
Petitioner Sher Afzal Marwat appeared in the court along with his counsel Qazi Adil advocate.
During the hearing of the case the court sought details of the cases against Sher Afzal Marwat from police and other respondents.
The court also asked the officials concerned to apprise if Marwat’s name is included in the Exit Control List (ECL).
Later justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir while issuing the order for not arresting Sher Afzal Marwat without prior permission of the court adjourned the hearing of the case till Friday.
