IHC reserves judgment on petition against acceptance of Khawaja Asif plea for filing additional documents

ISLAMABAD, June 06 (ONLINE): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has reserved judgment on the petition filed against acceptance of Khawaja Asif plea for filing additional documents in Rs 10 billion defamation case.

Single bench of IHC led by the Chief Justice (CJ) Amir Farooq took up for hearing petition filed by chairman PTI.

In PTI chairman petition the order of trial court was challenged whereby Khawaja Asif plea for filing additional documents was accepted.

Barrister Walid Iqbal appeared in the court on behalf of the petitioner.

Counsel for Khawaja Asif told the court Khawaja Asif gave some documents and made amendment which was accepted by the court.

The court inquired these documents had come to fore during the cross examination.
