IHC orders for holding hearing of bail plea of chairman PTI in open court

ISLAMABAD, Oct 04 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) while accepting plea against the in-camera hearing of bail petition of chairman PTI Imran Khan has ordered to hold hearing in open court in cipher case.
The hearing of bail plea will now be held in open court on October 09.

It has been said in court’s decision what information or documents will be pointed out as sensitive by the lawyers, the arguments on these documents will be heard in camera.

Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Aamir Farooq expressed remarks on Wednesday he had never held hearing in camera during the 9 years. May be I have conducted in-camera hearing one or two times in missing persons case.

CJ IHC Aamir Farooq while announcing the reserved judgment wrapped up FIA plea for in-camera hearing.

IHC said in its decision the hearing can be made in-camera on pointation of sensitive information.
The hearing of bail plea of Imran Khan will be held in open court. The hearing will be made in-camera on coming the sensitive information or documents on record.

It may be mentioned that IHC had reserved judgment on plea of making in-camera hearing of Imran Khan bail plea two days before in cipher case.
