ISLAMABAD, March 26 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued notice to Election Commission (EC) on the petitions filed against non issuance of certified forms 45 and 49 by EC. The court has summoned reply from EC today (Wednesday).
During the hearing of the case on Tuesday, Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Aamer Farooq remarked obtaining certified forms is your legal right. What order was issued on the petition of Shoaib Shaheen the same order is also in respect of petition of Suleman Akram Raja. These forms have to be issued by EC if It issues them today or after 10 days.
Shoaib Shaheen appeared in the court in person while Suleman Akram Raja was presented by his counsel.
The court while adjourning the hearing till Wednesday issued notices to EC.
