ISLAMABAD, March 06 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sought reply from Election Commission (EC) on a petition filed against not uploading forms 45 and 46 by EC on website within 14 days after election. The petition filed by Majlis-e-Wahdat UL Muslimeen (MWM) against not uploading the forms 45 and 47 on website within 14 days after election came up for hearing before single bench of IHC led by Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Amir Farooq here Wednesday.
Lawyer Emman Zainab Mazari appeared in the court on behalf of MWM.
She took the plea the forms of election results are required to be uploaded on website within 14 days as per election act.
She said not only forms but all the relevant documents have to be uploaded on website. General election was held on February 8 but the respective documents have not been uploaded so far on website.
The EC a day before uploaded forms 45 to some extent and later it removed them.
The court while issuing notice to EC has sought reply. The hearing of the case was adjourned till next week.
