ISLAMABAD, AUG 31 (ONLINE): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has imposed fine amounting to Rs 25000 on IG Police Islamabad in connection with Shireen Mazari petition seeking removal of her name from Exit Control List (ECL).
The fine has been slapped for not filing reply despite repeated court’s orders.
It has been said in court’s order IG should give Rs 25000 to petitioner Shireen Mazari before the next hearing.
It has been said by high court IG Islamabad was ordered to file reply within a week on August 21. IG Islamabad did not file reply till August 29. Fine of Rs 25000 is imposed on him for not filing reply today too.
According to court order despite not filing the reply high court ordered IG to hold investigation in this matter?
The court ordered to file reply after two weeks by taking action after investigation.
