IHC gives one day time to Punjab govt to file report on cases registered against Omar Ayub

ISLAMABAD, Dec 18 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has given one day time to Punjab government to file report in connection with the cases registered against PTI leader Omar Ayub.

The petition regarding details of the cases registered against Omar Ayub secretary general PTI came up for hearing before Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Aamer Farooq Monday.
FIA, NAB KPK and Islamabad police filed the reply during the hearing of the case.

According to report one case each is registered in Islamabad and KPK against Omar Ayub. Punjab government has not filed report so far on cases.

The CJ IHC remarked the petitioner Omar Ayub is a political personality and he has to take part in the election. He fears if he comes for filing nomination papers he may be arrested.

The court while giving one day time to Punjab government to file report adjourned the hearing of the case.
