LAHORE, Oct 07 (Online): A miscellaneous petition has been filed in Lahore High Court (LHC) to conduct early hearing of petition on holding general election within 90 days.
The miscellaneous petition was filed by citizen Munir Ahmad through Azhar Siddique advocate. The petitioner has taken the plea it is clearly mentioned in the constitution to hold election in 90 days. In this connection petition is pending hearing in the court. it has not been fixed for hearing so far.
The petitioner has requested the court the matter of holding election in 90 days is very important. Therefore, court should order to fix this petition for hearing early.
