Hearing of assets case against Ishaq Dar adjourned till Oct 17

ISLAMABAD, Oct 10 (Online): The hearing of assets case against former finance minister Ishaq Dar has been adjourned till October 17.
The case of accumulation of assets beyond known sources of income against Ishaq Dar and others came up for hearing in Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad.
Former finance minister did not appear in the court,
Counsel for Ishaq Dar and NAB prosecutor Afzal Qureshi appeared in the court of judge Muhammad Bashir.
The counsels of co-accused requested the court to adjourn hearing of the case for two months.

NAB prosecutor Afzal Qureshi said this reference relates to Lahore Region.
Defence counsel Qazi Misbah said this reference was earlier closed.

The judge Muhammad Bashir while seeking arguments regarding jurisdiction of AC on next hearing adjourned the hearing of the case till October 17.
