ISLAMABAD Oct 29 (Online): A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isi will hear the Faizabad dharna review case in the Supreme Court (SC) on November 1.
Registrar Supreme Court had issued notices to all the parties including the Attorney General.
The hearing of the case is likely to be postponed due to the request of the Attorney General of Pakistan to set up a fact-finding committee and give time for further investigations.
The court had sought a written response from all the parties on the previous hearing. PTI, MQM, Election Commission, IB and others have requested to withdraw the review petitions.
On the other hand, the federal government and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) have also submitted implementation reports. The Attorney General has submitted the implementation report.
