Criminal case should have been instituted against employee who has been sacked on forgery: CJP

ISLAMABAD, Oct 10 (Online): Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa has remarked criminal case should have been instituted against the employee who has been sacked on the basis of forgery from sensitive institution.

“Judges obtain NOC for going abroad. A criminal case should have been instituted against the employee of sensitive institution who has been sacked due to forgery; he gave these remarks during hearing of petition against dismissal of the employee from service.

The SC disposed of the petition against dismissal from service being withdrawn.

The CJP remarked the petitioner worked in sensitive institution. On what allegation he was sacked.

The court was told that the petitioner is facing charges of going abroad four times without permission and running business and website.

The CJP remarked Judges to obtain NOC for going abroad. NESCOM only removed him from job. They should have filed case against him.

Upon it the counsel for petitioner requested for withdrawal of his petition.

The court disposed of the petition as withdrawn.
