Court reserves judgment in asset case against former FM Ishaq Dar

ISLAMABAD, Oct 17 (Online): Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad has reserved judgment in accumulation of assets beyond known sources of income against former Finance Minister (FM) against Ishaq Dar.

The hearing of the assets case against Ishaq Dar and others has been completed in AC Islamabad.

NAB prosecutor and Qazi Misbah counsel for Ishaq Dar completed their arguments on Tuesday and the court reserved the judgment.
Judge Muhammad Bashir of AC Islamabad will announce the judgment on October 21.

Earlier the court had consigned the reference to record. The reference was re- heard against Ishaq Dar in the light of Supreme Court (SC) decision. Important headway has been made after revival of case in the light of SC decision.

The record of all cases was presented in Accountability courts. NAB teams presented record of 81 corruption cases in the court.

Record of references against Asif Zardari, Nawaz Sharif, Yousuf Raza Gillani, Shahid Khan Abbasi, Miftah Ismail and Ishaq Dar was presented in accountability courts.

Record of cases against Murad Ali Shah, Sharjeel Memon and Omni group was also submitted in accountability courts.
