Court approves 7 days physical remand of Abid Boxer

LAHORE, OCT 19 (Online): CIA has arrested again former police inspector Abid Boxer involved in snatching cops rifle and escaping from police custody.

The court has granted his physical remand to police for 7 days.

Former inspector police had allegedly escaped from police custody on October 13.

Lahore Police had said Abid Boxer had fled along with three proclaimed offenders after snatching cops rifle. The accused was warning police after his arrest.

According to CIA police spokesperson Abid Boxer was again arrested during operation last night and he was handed over to investigation wing for investigation.

The spokesperson said CIA civil lines team had arrested Abid Boxer. Terrorism cases and cases under other clauses are registered against him in three police stations.

On the other hand former inspector police Abid Boxer was produced in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore on the charges of snatching cops rifle and escaping from police custody.

Police requested the court to grant physical remand of Abid Boxer,
Court while accepting police plea granted physical remand of Abid Boxer for seven days.

The court sought investigation report on next hearing and ordered police to present Abid Boxer again on October 26.

The case of snatching cops rifle and escaping from custody of police is registered in police station Faisal town.
