LAHORE, Oct 16 (Online): District and sessions court has adjourned hearing of bail plea of chairman PTI Imran Khan in 6 cases till October 24.
The interim bail of Bushra Bibi wife of Imran Khan has been extended till October 31.
The bail plea of Bushra Bibi in one case and of Imran Khan in 6 cases came up for hearing in district and sessions court Monday.
Additional district and sessions judge Tahir Abbas Sipra heard the bail petitions.
Barrister Suleman Safdar counsel for chairman PTI appeared in the court.
Barrister Suleman Safdar said Bushra Bibi too is present. She did not remain absent in any hearing. Islamabad High Court (IHC) asked for rehearing 9 bail pleas of Imran Khan. We expressed our security concern several time in your court. We dont want that court goes to the accused
Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra remarked this is done keeping in view the security of the accused. Judges went to judicial complex from Kutchery to hear the case.
Barrister Suleman Safdar said prosecution is not present today too in the court.
Judge Tahir Abbas remarked when chairman PTI will be included in the investigation.
IO said we include chairman PTI in investigation.
Judge Tahir Abbas inquired let the decision from IHC come and then we see the matter of production. IO should tell if they have to include him in investigation then we issue orders to superintendent jail just now.
The court adjourned hearing of bail petition of Imran Khan in six cases till October 24 besides extending the interim bail of Bushra Bibi till October 31.
