LAHORE, April 24 (Online): Chief Justice (CJ) Lahore High Court (LHC) has sent to 2-meber bench the petition filed by former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry seeking extension in his protective bail.
The petition filed by Fawad Chaudhry seeking extension in protective bail came up for hearing before CJ LHC Malik Shahzad Ahmad Khan Wednesday.
Fawad Chaudhry appeared in the court along with his wife Hiba Chaudhry.
The petitioner took the plea that LHC had approved protective bail of former federal minister in 36 cases. The court should order for extending interim bails in all the cases.
The CJ LHC while sending the case file to 2-member bench under Justice Alia Neelam remarked you can resort to 2-member bench forthwith.
