Cipher misplacement case: interim bail of Asad Umar extended

ISLAMABAD, Aug 29 (Online): Interim bail of former federal minister Asad Umar has been extended till September 14 in cipher misplacement case.

Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain of the court established under official secret act held in-camera hearing of cipher disappearance case here Tuesday.

Asad Umar appeared in the court along with his counsel Babar Awan.

The court while extending the interim bail of the case till September 14 adjourned the hearing of the case.

Talking to media men later Asad Umar said PTI chairman has given detailed reply about cipher misplacement. He has told FIA about cipher.

He stated cipher is available in ministry of foreign affairs. Cipher is classified document which cannot come out of foreign ministry.

To a question from a journalist that Pervez Khattak says chairman PTI was dictator in party, he said former Prime Minister did not look to be dictator to him.

When asked the remaining party leaders tried to meet party chairman in Jail and why he did not do so, he said our vice chairman was not allowed to meet chairman PTI. Only lawyers are allowed to meet him.

He said the poor were already ruined now the middle class and white collars can not lead a respectable life.
