ISLAMABAD, Oct 04 (Online): Chairman PTI Imran Khan has filed petition in Islamabad High Court (IHC) against jail trial in cipher case.
The petitioner has prayed the court to stop law ministry to issue such notification in future.
The judgment on the petition against shifting trial court to Attock jail is reserved in IHC. During the pendency of the petition the law ministry issued notification like that.
It has been further said in the petition law ministry issued NOC that there is no objection on trial in Adiala jail. The jurisdiction of law ministry has been challenged in IHC. High court should settle can law ministry issue such notification or otherwise. High court should settle will trial judge be bound of notification of ministry of law. It is therefore, requested that reserved judgment on central application be announced.
